We have just returned from Cuba. We visited the beautiful, colonial and old Havana. Here nothing has changed in many years. Cars are mostly from the 50′s, the house has not undergone any renovation since being built. A great place to bring your camera, but also take a little extra to share with the residents, they have actually very little. Something very much asked for, was soap. Cubans are very nice and easy to get in contact with.
The contrasts are big when you come to Varadero. Here you will find kilometers of Caribbean beaches with lots of tourists and few residents. But if you travel in the summer, it is not so many, it is actually low season.
