Wedding photography – Arguineguin Gran Canaria

Anja and Kai got married at the Norwegian Church in Arguineguin 5th of February. I also had the family in the studio some days earlier, with their kids, Jarl-Roar, Natalie and Nora.
Normally the weather in Arguineguin and Mogán is sunny, warm and not windy. This day was the most windy day I can remember in a long time. And it was a calima, a sand storm was running over the island, and it was sand and dust all over, and not sunny at all. But no sun means perfect light for photography. Normally it is too sunny and it can be difficult to balance the light for photography in the mid day. I had planned a shoot on the beach, and was a little bit worried about it because of the heavy wind, but luckily the wind calmed down and the session  came out beautiful I think. First we went to Tauro for a little session before the ceremony. Then, after the ceremony in the church in Arguineguin, we went to Playa del Cura for a beach session. Anjas dress got a little bit dirty at the beach, but that didn´t bother her at all, she took it with a smile.

Two days after their wedding, we went to the beach again, this time for a trash the dress session at Amadores beach. Those photos are comming later…
