Oh yes, Little Princess Adorable visited us last week. She is so charming og so cute! And we worked quite a bit long time, but she was happy all the time.

I just love this jobs when I have the opportunity to work with such a adorable kids, and meet all your lovely parents too. I am so lucky to be able to work with this. Thank you!

Pet photos of the dog Milla

I didn´t had any experience with pet photos when Millas “mother” called me to ask me to take her dog Millas photos for her 1 year birthday. But some time has to be the first. I had to admit this was not the easiest job I ever done, but one of the cutest costumer I had. It was not easy to get Milla to stay where we wanted. But mother Seija knew the tricks and had some goodies to give her, so we manage to take many photos of her. And I just love the result myself, Milla is so cute, and I hope this is not the last pet I get the chance to photograph.

Summary of the year 2011

Hello everyone. And Happy New Year! I´ve had a long vacation away from the blog and from photogarphy and are now so ready to start up again. The year ended with some lovely days in the Caribbean with my husband, at the Dominican Republic. We just love the Caribbean! We also met some fantastic people there from Canada that we hope we´ll meet again some day (hello Dave and Laura!!).

And after that I have been taking it easy and slow for a while. But now, I have opend the studio againg, and the last days I have been busy to make some new stuff for the studio. And on saturday I´ll start up again with a special guest, I am going to meet a cute little dog, and take her one-year photos. I´m looking so forward to it.

2011 has also been a great year for me. I have met so many wonderful people that have visited us in the studio or that we have taken photos of somewhere outside. 2011 was also the year I started the business seriously, so no I have my own company here in Spain. A little bit scary, but I love so much doing photography and catch all those people with my camera, so I´ll give it a try.

The biggest private event this year was the wedding of Camilla and Ronny, my daughter and son in law. And they chose me as their photographer, I have never had more fear before a photo shoot, I swear! Puh, but it all went very good, they where so happy for the photos.

Another fantastic trip we did this year, was to Borneo in Malaysia with special good friends, I have a ton of photos form this trip, but here is one of me, Morten and Svennie. Geir was the photographer. We are on a train going into the jungle. And the train went of the track!

I also got a bigger studio this year, and in may we could move into it. After a big job making this the perfect place to welcome all my clients, I am very satisfied with the result. Would you like to see the video of making the studio?

I want to thank each one of you that I met this year and hope you all are doing well. Maybe we meet again and you are all welcome to visit, and please come and see the new studio if you are around.

Nye fotokurs med Simen Myrberget på Gran Canaria

Nå blir det fotokurs på Gran Canaria igjen!

Vi er så heldig å igjen å få fotograf Simen Myrberget til å holde to kurs i digitalfoto for nybegynnere her på Den Norske Skole (Gran Canaria) i mars og april 2012. Kurslederen har massiv erfaring og regnes som en av norges mest erfarne kursledere innen digitalfoto og bildebehandling. En av kursledernes fremste fortrinn er at han formidler sin erfaring som fotograf i over 20 år og kursleder siden 1993, på et veldig praktisk og lettfattelig nivå. Fotografen er publisert i bl.a. Newsweek og National Geographics og innehar to internasjonale førstepriser i foto. Kurset skal arrangeres på Valle Marina og alle som hører til Valle Marina og ”Colegio Noruego” får 15% på de allerede gunstige introduksjonsprisene (pris fra kr. 1690.- for elever og studenter (personer under 18 år). Nytt i denne sammenheng er at kurset er ”økologisk” og allergivennlig d.v.s at man ikke får benytte parfyme samt spise nøtter i nærheten av kurslokalene og at frukten som serveres er økologisk og vannet renset. Anbefalt alder fra ca. + 12 år / ivrig nybegynner.

Posting some of the photos I took just before christmas of this lovely young girl. We went to the beach, unfortunately it wasn´t that orange sunset I was hoping for, but I am very happy with the result though. Some photos were also taken in our studio in Puerto Rico.

Oskar is a young boy that is going to be “konfirmert” like we say in Norway. I have taken the photos for his invitation cards for this event. And since Oskar is a longboard skater, I thought it would be nice to use a urban/grunge background. And what is more perfect than at wall of graffiti. I just love graffiti, and there are so many gorgeous looking graffiti art work on this island. I think the environment is perfect for Oskar.

Christmas angel

Unfortunately I have not been taken so many pictures as I could wish in the past. I’ve been too busy with my exam and now I have a useless arm that I’m struggling with. My physiotherapist has worked hard this week to try to improve it, but it doesn´t seem to help. I must try something else next week. Next week, I have to do more photography since I have someone waiting to take their photos, then we’ll see if the arm will cooperate.

Meanwhile, enjoy this litte Christmas angel. This is my sweet granddaughter Celine, and I took the photos of her in the end of october when I was in Norway.

The last month haven´t been lazy days. I have had my final exam for my study of journalism for the web. The exam did last for ten days, but finally I am done with it. So now I can start live again

I will now be able to take customers again and have some time available before christmas, so hurry up if your planning taking your photos before the end of the year.

I post some photos here from the photoshoot of this lovely family I had in the studio a while ago.

This lovely and nice family visited us in the studio last week. Line, Emilie and Alexander are a lovely Norwegian family who wanted to take their portraits while they were staying on Gran Canaria. We had a great photo session and took a lot of photos. We ended it with the jump photos. Those are very popular among many of my customers. I make a collage and put together the photos for on big poster.

It was lovely meeting you, and maybe we see you again soon!

Family photography at the fantastic Lopesan Hotel Villa del Conde

On saturday we went to the fantastic hotel Lopesan Villa del Conde in Meloneras. We had an appointment with Marina, Derek and sweet little Alison. They are the most lovely little family from Dublin in Irland you can imagine, and we had a great time with them late afternoon in the surroundings of this fantastic hotel. And even if Alison (15 month) not always wanted to do the same as us, we managed to capture some amazing moments of this lovely family.

I am so loving the result of these photos, and again I am reminding myself of how lucky I am to be able to meet so many fantastic people and capture moments of their lives….
